"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. - Mark 11:22-24

Having said that, I encourage all of us to pray for our ministry's growth! As we look forward for the coming days, weeks, months and years ahead, we will grow in numbers and grow more deeper and closer to HIM. Believe, have faith and pray and it will be given to us!

God bless everyone and see you all on September 3!

28 people on Aug 27's devotion

It is just so amazing how God continuously work in our ministry, from last week's 26 head count in attendance, this time - we had a blast of 28 call center people (of which 6 people accepted the call to altar invitation led by P. Ro), praise God, and we won't stop there! By His grace our ministry will grow so that his name will be glorified.

Let us keep the fire burning to invite more people from the industry to join CONNECT. Let us join together in prayers and faithfully ask God to give us wisdom and to guide us, as we seek and reach out to the call center inductry.

We rejoice and welcome our first timers and long lost brother: Dwight of ICT Marketing Services Inc.-Makati, Josephine of Teleperformance-Edsa Central , Mazayuki (invited by Jeff) , and JV of ICT Marketing Services Inc -Marikina (after few months of being gone) welcome back bro!

As for next week, we'll be having Pastor Kevin Alamag as our speaker and he will share to us "Decision Making" thoughts.

Looking forward of seeing us all next week! God bless us all this week.

***as per above photo, few people left already after the devotion that lasted for 5hrs without people noticing that it's already been that long! amzing huh?!

Why did GOD die for us?

Praise God for a wonderful and another fruitful Monday morning!

P. Ro's message "Why did God die for us?", taken from Romans 5, gave us the opportunity to ponder on things we thought we knew was right. He made it clear to the group that Jesus died on the cross so that EVERYONE MAY LIVE, but not necessarily to live and go to heaven but to have life after death and face God either as thier Saviour or as thier Judge.

Here are some notes:

- If Jesus died for everyone so that all may go to heaven then there's no point of sharing the gospel.

- "Religion" usually tries hard to get to heaven that it tends to forget why Jesus came down to us and died on the cross.

- If a person is really good, how come he needs a savior?

- Adam sinned and we're all going to die (Gen 1:3, we'll die spiritually) but Jesus came and saved us from death.

- Jesus is the one we call on to when we pray because He is the only one who can hear us. Mary (mother of Jesus) was just like you and me, an instrument of God the father.

- Sovereignty; God will always be God.

- God will either be your Saviour or your Judge when we die and face Him in life after death.

- His name will be glorified in heaven, on earth and even in hell.

- You only get baptized when you get to understand why Jesus came and died for us.

- a Saint is anyone who believes in Jesus, not anyone who can perform miracles.

- The 2nd advent or 2nd coming of the Lord Jesus, everything happens in preparation of HIS 2nd coming.

ROMANS 5
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a]have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we[c] also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned— 13for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. 14Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.
15But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

18Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

20The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What a WONDERFUL Monday morning!

Praise God for a wonderful morning devotion and fellowship CONNECT had yesterday! The Senioir's and Women's Room were jam packed with an astounding 26 people from different call center.

We had a wonderful time sharing breakfast, fellowship in meeting new faces and first timers from ICT Marketing Services-Ortigas (Jho and Allan), JP Morgan Chase Bank-Makati (Sager and Jha), Sitel Care Philippines-Libis (Niel), Covergys-Ortigas (Vin). We learned a lot from P. Euge when he shared to us how the Israelites gave so much excuses in building God's temple, and taught us not to focus on ourselves more but instead to God and His plan for our lives, our scriptures came from the book of Haggai, chapter 1.

And most specially we also praise God for the 4 people who accepted Jesus Christ as their Personal Saviour that morning. We will indeed continue to pray for you guys! your journey just started and CONNECT will be your accountable partner so that we may help one another in growing more like Him!

We look forward of seeing you regularly in our breakfast-fellowship and devotion! May God bless us all for the whole week! See you all on August 27!

(thanks to Rajsh for the cookies, fresh milk, hershey's kisses and green tea, she shared with the group for her 23rd birthday treat)

WHY I FOLLOW JESUS

You ask why I follow this Jesus?
Why I love Him the way I do?
When the world's turned away from His teachings
And the people who serve Him are few.

It's not the rewards I'm after
Or gifts that I hope to receive
It's the Presence that calls for commitment
It's the Spirit I trust and believe.

The Lord doesn't shelter His faithful
Or spare them all suffering and pain.
Like everyone else I have burdens,
And walk through my share of rain.

Yet He gives me a plan and a purpose,
And that joy only Christians have known,
I never know what comes tomorrow,
But I do know I'm never alone.

It's the love always there when you need it;
It's the words that redeem and inspire,
It's the longing to ever be with Him
That burns in my heart like a fire.

So you ask why I love my Lord Jesus?
Well, friend, that's so easy to see,
But the one thing that fills me with wonder is
Why Jesus loves someone like me.

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!

When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!

When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!

When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.

He is God, He is faithful.
I am His, and He is mine!

My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.
